Sounds like a certain anime, doesnt it?
Using stills half the running time of the fucking episodes is not abstract or deep, it’s cheap. The art is nice when it’s animated but stop making excuses for this show.
This shit almost as bad as Endless Eight, completely trolling it’s fanbase.
All the bullshit artsy text flashing and 3d black and while backgrounds are the very definition of a show that is trying to impress you with this deep shit. What the fuck is this shit, this is getting retarded. Don’t call this “SHAFT’s style” because they haven’t done this shit in PDD, thats why it was good.
Bakemonogatari fans are the average kids that think watching a semi-intellectual artsy show makes them smart and thus they watch it to they feel more mature about themselves.
Bakemonogatari haters are anime viewers who have enough experience to not be fooled by Shaft’s trolling and really bad adaptation of a good book.

try reading the novels,
