We get this.
Like I previously mentioned, I finished watching Kabuto, and therefore, I am now starting to watch Kiva. After the first episode I was already hooked; Wataru is darn funny to watch, Megumi is cute, and Kivat is voiced by the always awesome Sugita Tomokazu.
Another thing that drew me in is the awesome opening song, Break the Chain by Tourbillon. An awesome piece of work.
Yes, I’ve pretty much completely metamorphosized into a Kamen Rider fanboy again. Despite tokusatsu being mainly for children, there is still a sizable community of people my age and older who still enjoy watching Kamen Rider. For me, the word “Henshin!” is still awesome to the point of being GAR and on a power level equal to, if not more than, 9000.
Recently while awaiting new episodes of Decade, the latest in the series (yes, I’m slow, I suck, I haven’t done the episodics for 4-6) I rewatched Kabuto. I just finished rewatching the series yesterday, and here I am now, reviewing a three-year-old series.
Apart from Jeff Dunham, one of my other favourite comedians is Russell Peters. Famous for his immortal lines- “Somebody gonna get hurt real bad” and “Be a man, do the right thing”- as well as his jibes at his own race, as well as other races.
His latest DVD, Red, White and Brown, is no different from his previous shows; gloriously funny, and still taking potshots at his own race. Here’s a sample:
Definitely recommended. Awesome stuff.
I think I’ve said before that I’m not much of an anime person, but there are already two anime for this season that have caught my eye.
I realise this is really, really, REALLY late, since 05 is already subbed, but I have been… uhh, lazy. I mean, busy. OK, both.
So… where did we last leave off? Oh right: Kuuga and Decade vs the Hoppers.
